............................ a rare thing!!!!

Well, I don't know what to say, quite literally!  Where oh where has the month gone?!  Why oh why aren't I more organised?! When oh when can I have a PA?! I can't think of an apology big enough for my disappearance over the last month (ish) - shame on me : - o.  After my badly sprained ankle saga (see last post) came the rip roaring ear infection saga which required two lots of antibiotics & a lotttttttttttt of pain killers but thankfully, all better now : - )  So I though I'd give you a little re-cap of the month (just so you don't think I was sitting around being plain lazy!) - deep breath, here goes -

• Demonstrations at Emerald Crafts, Lyndhurst, Carole's Crafts, Altrincham, Stitch & Creative Crafts (GMex), Manchester, Papercrafts Extravaganza, Harrogate, Stitch & Creative Crafts, Sandown, The Big Stamp & Scrapbooking Show, Alexandra Palace, Coleman's Craft Warehouse, Rushden - huge hello to everyone who stopped to say Hello - hope you are all suitably glittery by now!
• Workshops at Carole's Crafts, Kingsley -thank-you for your company ladies & gent (you now who you are!) & special thanks for being kind to me when poorly with my sore ear
• Back to nursing! - I am back to my old job as an Infection Control Nurse at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (my doesn't that sound grand!) in London a few days a week. But not before the trauma of interviews, a criminal record check (my only crime your honour is buying too much craft stuff!), putting a uniform on (why are they sooooo unflattering?) & a Drug Calcualtion Test.  Maths not being my strong point means that this was extremely traumatic but all was ok : - ) It was fab to see old colleagues, scary to see how much changes in such a short space of time (two years) & very sobering to be back in the hospital environment.  Makes me appreciate even more how lucky I am to be able to work in the craft industry

Soooooo as an indication of my good intentions to keep my blog up to date I am spending today updating my diary page, so please check back later for a demo near you.  I am also joining Twitter (I know, I know a glutton for punishment!) - I'm guessing it's one of those things everyone tells you is easy but I will not be able to work!  When I have it sorted I will let you know.
