....................................... how long has it been?
First I couldn't believe it's August, now I can't believe it's been so long since my last blog entry! Soooooooo big update but with no pictures : - ( It really is starting to annoy me now especially as everyone keeps telling me how easy it is! The problem is I have no interest in how it works I just want to hit a button & voila! I'm pretty good with the computer but my technical know how is very limited (I'm such a girl!). Anyway it remains on my never ending things to do list.
Big "Hi" to everyone who stopped by at Stevenage Stamperama. What a great day of chatting & stamping, oh & a little demo'ing too : - ) When I have the photo thing sorted I have two lovely card samples to share with you - they can currently be seen over on www.stampaddicts-thepurplezone.blogspot.com I'm never very good at picking a favourite product when I'm asked, I generally lurrrrve what I am working with at the time (I'm so fickle!) but I just adore the Judikins Dreaming Fairy stamp, she looks so calm & happy. Pop over to see the sample.
I don't think I mentioned that I (badly) sprained my ankle over a week ago. I went over on my ankle in a very stunning pair of shoes (the guilty shoes will be pictured & shamed when I have the picture thing sorted) & yes, before you ask, I might have had a glass of wine! LOL! I was off my feet completely for three days & have been hobbling ever since. I can't believe how much a sprain can slow you down! Unfortunately, while it was still very painful I had to travel on public transport to demo's & meetings that I really couldn't cancel. Now those who know me know I don't drive so I am a veteran of public transport & a huge fan as it gets me from A to B quite nicely thank-you very much, it's rare you will hear me complain about the public transport system & guess what I am not going to moan now! The fabulous guard at Darlington station saw me hobbling along, sadly pulling my demo bag & escorted me to the 1st class lounge so I could put my foot up whilst waiting on the train than came back to fetch me to walk me down the platform. The guard on the train made sure I had my foot up, checked on me to make sure I was ok & took my bags off for me at my stop. It really only went a bit pear shaped in London on the underground but I guess I expected that! So thank-you to everyone who helped me, smiled at me & offered to help even when I didn't need it. You made my weekend much easier.
That's all for now, hobbles,
