. . . . . . . . . . my first Blog entry! Excited (lots) & nervous (loads)!
First "Hello" & "Welcome" fellow Crafters, Bloggers, Readers & anyone else who pops by! I am very excited to be joining the world of Blogging but also very tentative! Why am I tentative: - There are sooooooooo many fab & talented Bloggers out there I managed to get myself into a fretting frenzy & as a result have been sitting on my hands for a week when I could have made an entry sooooooooooooo I decided to stop overthinking it & get on with it - I'm a virgin, Blogging virgin that is! So all I can do at the moment is make a text entry, sorry no pictures just yet, please (insert best pleading, adorable face here, well as adorable as I can be!) stick with me through the trials & tribulations of learning - Sometimes I am a little disorganised, despite my many to do lists (not my fault there isn't enough hours in the day!), so I'm going to have to try very hard to fit in Blog entries, project pics & up to the minute gossip. No promises but I will endeavour to Blog at least three (three, really?) times a week (insert stressed face here) - Will have to learn Blogging etiquette - does "Blog" always have a capitol "B", how many exclamation marks are too many (I lurvve exclamation marks!), what do all the abbreviations on other peoples Blogs mean (can anyone help me out out with "An Idiots Guide to Blog Abbreviations"?), can I write words in capital letters or is that shouting like on an e-mail (insert confused face here) & perhaps most importantly, when can I give away Blog Candy (yes, I have Blog Candy all ready & waiting!) - I'm going to have to re-establish a relationship with my (very dusty, cough, cough) dictionary - my spelling sucks! But more importantly I am soooooooooo excited! So a big shout out to everyone who kept on my case (otherwise known as nagging) about getting up & running (you know who you are!) - I sincerely hope it will be worth the wait. Thanks also to those of you who have contacted me - your kind words & encouragement are much appreciated - workshop & demonstrations will be on the website soon (I promise). That's all for now, off to add a few more things to my to do list, Crafty hugs, Amanda x
